Adoption By Choice was the first licensed open adoption agency in Alberta in 1989 and has been a leader in adoption services for more than 20 years. The scope of adoption services has broadened over the years, and at the center of all of our services is our mission:

A fundamental value at the center of every adoption plan is the best interests of the child. We work in partnership with government and community services to provide child centered and family focused adoption services. We have been helping birth parents and adoptive parents together for more than 20 years and help to facilitate many adoption placements each year. Our staff have personal experience with adoption in a variety of ways and bring both a passion and deep understanding of adoption issues to their work at Adoption By Choice.
